Xorxios was born from the bond between a Galician family and Brazil and coffee, a story that began when our ancestors emigrated to Brazil in 1950 and discovered coffee cultivation, learning to care for the land and value each step of the process. From the first plantations in Paraná to the move to Cerrado Mineiro (Minas Gerais), each generation worked with dedication and care, always keeping the connection with Galicia alive.

Those ties between Brazil and Spain were what, decades later, inspired the creation of Xorxios in 1999. Since then, we have brought speciality coffees from their origin to roasters with discernment, knowledge and respect for those who work the land. The name Xorxios, the nickname by which our family was known in Galicia and Brazil, reflects our essence: the value of maintaining our roots and building the future by combining tradition and innovation.
